Dog training is a highly competitive, often political and ever changing industry. The science behind our methods and techniques is growing and developing rapidly as industry leaders discover more ethical and effective ways to resolve behaviour issues. It can be extremely tricky to navigate these waters for new-to-industry trainers as often what we learnt as recently as a year or two ago is no-longer considered best practice and the nuance involved with putting theory into practice can be harder than it seems.

Our dog trainer mentorship was designed, not to teach non-trainers how to become trainers (there are many incredible courses for that!), but to guide and support new trainers after that initial period of learning, when you're ready to get out there, build your business and start taking on clients. We're there to help you learn how to build a client base, develop and implement behaviour modification plans, communicate effectively with clients, have a sounding board for new and tricky cases, discuss ideas and opinions, and offer a cracking little group of like minded trainers who are all in the same boat.

Applicants need to be hard working, willing to step out of their comfort zone, and have solid sense of humour. We learn a lot, but we have a bucket load of fun doing it.
