Board & Train
Board & Train is designed for dogs who want more intensive, structured support than can easily be achieved through weekly sessions alone.
Your dog stays with us and is worked with multiple times each day, allowing for consistent, focused progress without the stop-start nature of training that often happens at home. This makes it an excellent way to kick-start a training programme, or to work through a specific challenge more efficiently.
While it’s often associated with more complex behaviour cases, Board & Train is just as valuable for everyday dogs. It’s a great option for building strong foundations, sharpening manners, and giving puppies a clear, confident head start in life.
It can also be especially helpful for busy households where consistency is difficult to maintain. We’re able to put the time and structure in upfront, creating momentum that’s much easier to carry forward once your dog returns home.
During their stay, we focus on practical skills, emotional regulation, and helping your dog function more calmly and reliably in real-world situations. Just as importantly, we take the time to understand your dog as an individual - what they need, what they struggle with, and how to set them up for success.
Board & Train is not a “send your dog away to be fixed” service. It works best alongside coaching, where you as the owner learn how to maintain and build on the progress. You’ll receive clear guidance and support so you understand what’s been taught and how to continue moving forward at home.
This option is ideal for owners who want a strong foundation in place, with the support to turn that progress into lasting change.
Note: our board & train service is run at a very small scale on purpose to ensure that each dog gets their needs met and that they have all the normal home comforts they're used to. As a result, our board & train service books up very quickly, and there is often a wait of a few months. Please contact ASAP if you're hoping for specific dates, to give us the best chance to accomodate.
